Atlas Thread Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Atlas Thread LLC ("Atlas Thread," "we," or "us") and govern your use of our websites, applications, and connected services (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing after we present updated Terms, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and your account
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials and devices secure, do not share accounts, and promptly notify security@atlasthread.ai of suspected unauthorized access.
What Atlas Thread provides
Atlas Thread helps you organize records and other information you choose to provide into a private, source-backed memory. Features may include extraction, timelines, summaries, stories, search, AI-assisted answers, and optional connected services.
Health and financial information
Atlas Thread is an organizational and informational tool. It is not a medical provider, does not diagnose or treat conditions, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency services. AI-generated or extracted content may be incomplete or wrong; verify important information against its source and with a qualified professional.
Financial connections, when offered, are optional and may be provided through Plaid or another disclosed provider. Atlas Thread never asks you to give us your online banking password. You must review the data access presented during connection and separately consent before data is requested. Financial outputs are informational and are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
Your content and privacy
You retain ownership of content you provide. You give Atlas Thread limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service for you, subject to the Privacy Policy and your choices. You represent that you have the right to provide the content and authorize that processing.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we process it, the providers involved, retention and deletion, and how to exercise your choices. Material changes may require you to review and accept a new version before continuing.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or availability, upload malicious code, violate another person's rights, use the Service unlawfully, or reverse engineer protected parts of the Service except where the law permits.
Third-party services
Some features depend on third parties such as cloud, email, AI, or financial-connectivity providers. Their own terms and notices may apply when you choose those features.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
We work to keep Atlas Thread reliable and secure, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Atlas Thread is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
Ending use and account deletion
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service. Data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will publish the new version and provide additional notice or require re-acceptance for material changes. Questions may be sent to privacy@atlasthread.ai; security reports may be sent to security@atlasthread.ai.
